The EZ Locking Nut is a new Airdrome product design employing the use of a Locking Ring and a recessed Button, located at the front end of the nut, which engages a pin into the groove of the mating fitting end, securely locking it into place. This design prevents disengagement of the mating fitting due to vibration or rotation. With the Button depressed, the Locking Ring is allowed to be rotated to the locked position, extending the pin into the groove of the mating fitting end, preventing its release. Once in position, the Button snaps back up, locking the pin in place. Depressing the Button again and rotating the Locking Ring 180º, retracts the engaging pin from the nut I.D., allowing removal of the mating fitting end.
